a monitoring group told By least 38 civilians were killed and dozens more wounded in fresh physical violence in Syria's second city Aleppo on Thursday.
Rebel rocket and artillery flames on government-held neighbourhoods wiped out 18 civilians, the Syrian Observatory for Human Protection under the law said.
Two children were among the list of dead, and about forty individuals were wounded.
Regime air strikes on rebel-held areas, such as the heavily populated Bustan al-Qasr neighbourhood,  the Observatory said 20 civilians is killed , including civilians.
An surge upward in fighting in Aleppo, Syria's pre-war commercial centre, has killed at least 186 people since Fri, the Britain-based group said.
